MOCHA will have national and international impact through our unique new “Gateways” Exchange Program.  This program gives artists, scholars and interns from the United States and abroad opportunities to be “in residence” at the museum  to teach and interact with other artists, interns and art and museum field  professionals through roundtables, symposia and our children/youth program (on site and in-school visits), and to experience Washington DC’s rich art and cultural life.  Interest in collaborative exchanges has been expressed nationally, and internationally  by artists, art spaces and universities.
